The 5th National Fluid Flow Measurement Conference and Exhibition

The fifth national conference and exhibition of fluid flow measurement in oil, gas, refining and distribution, petrochemical and water industries was held on July 14 and 15 at Iran University of Science and Technology.

This two-day conference was organized by the Fluid Flow Measurement Research Center of Iran University of Science and Technology in the following areas:

     • Measurement rights
     • Measurement intelligence
     • National and international standards in measurement
     • Types of technologies related to metering (quantitative and qualitative measurement) in single-phase and multiphase flow.
     • Choosing the implementation, operation, maintenance and repair of measuring and proving equipment

In the opening ceremony of this national conference, Dr. Yunsian, vice president of research and technology of the University of Science and Technology, listed the relationship with the industry and the training of graduates who are effective in the industries as one of the salient features of the University of Science and Technology of Iran. He pointed out that in the new management period of the university, the main activities, especially in the field of research and technology, are emphasizing on industrial interactions, he added: holding this conference is one of the programs of the university in this direction, and also currently, three supreme institutes They operate in the Iran University of Science and Technology, which was formed mainly with the support of the country's oil and gas complex and had good results.

In the opening ceremony, Dr. Esdroz, CEO of Iran Oil Terminals Company; Engineer Haj Rasouliha, advisor to the Minister of Energy, regarding the necessity of using volumetric meters in wells and alternative management methods until the meter is installed; Dr. Mazloum Farsi Baf, Director of Research and Technology of National Gas Company of Iran; Engineer Joulii, Dispatching Manager of Iran National Gas Company, with the topic of accurate and intelligent measurement in the country's gas network; On behalf of Delta Gas Mobin, engineer Kochzade gave a speech about the importance of the conference and the challenges of metering in their specialized fields.
